Terms of service

Last updated October 23, 2026. These terms cover NodeDial, a service of Styzza LLC ("we"). By using a NodeDial page or signing up a board, you agree to them.

The service

NodeDial hosts web dialer pages that connect browser callers to bulletin board systems by telnet. It's provided as is. Features and limits may change as we build it out.

Sysops

You may only list a board you run or have permission to list. You're responsible for your board and what's on it. We review every board, on every plan, before it goes live, and review new addresses before NodeDial connects to them. We may decline any board. Boards with illegal content, or used to attack, spam or harm others, will be removed. We may remove any board from the service, with notice when we can.

Each plan has a limit on callers connected through NodeDial at once (Free 2, Basic 10, Pro none). When it's reached, the next caller hears a busy signal. Callers who connect with their own terminal program aren't counted.

Callers

Use NodeDial pages to call the boards listed on them. Don't use them to attack, overload, spam or harass those boards, their users or NodeDial, or for anything illegal. Each board's own rules apply once you're connected. We may block anyone who breaks these rules from NodeDial, without notice.

Reporting abuse

To report abuse coming through NodeDial, email abuse@nodedial.com with the board, the date and time, and what happened. NodeDial carries calls to boards; it doesn't host their messages or files, so content on a board is up to that board's sysop. NodeDial doesn't record what callers type or see. We act on reports promptly and cooperate with valid legal requests.

Billing

The Free plan is free. Basic and Pro are paid monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. Payments are processed and sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service, which acts as the seller of record and handles sales tax and receipts. Nobody is charged without signing up for a paid plan. You can cancel any time by emailing us, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for. If we change prices, we'll email paying sysops at least 30 days before the change applies to them.

Our software

NodeDial's software, design and name belong to Styzza LLC. You may use NodeDial pages as provided. You may not copy, modify, redistribute or reverse engineer the software, or use it to build a competing service. The VGA font is by VileR, licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0.

No warranty, limited liability

NodeDial is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We aren't liable for lost data, downtime, or anything that happens on a board you connect to. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
